The West Sweden Chamber of Commerce is now looking for a digital marketer to join the Move to Gothenburg team.
Move to Gothenburg is an initiative aimed at attracting international professionals to Gothenburg and Western Sweden, and at creating better conditions for employers to recruit from other countries. It is a joint effort by industry, academia, the city, and the region, with its base at the West Sweden Chamber of Commerce.
Key responsibilities:
Social Media Marketing, Website Management, Inbound Marketing
Social Media Management
· Develop, schedule and publish relevant and engaging content for our social media channels.
· Use social media listening tools to listen and participate in relevant conversations.
· Identify and develop relationships with relevant influencers.
· Monitor performance and suggest improvements.
Website Management
· Maintain and update website, ensuring text written is in keeping with our tone of voice, is written for the web and is optimized for SEO. Ensure images and videos fit with our tonality and image guidelines for Gothenburg and West Sweden.
· Monitor website performance and analytics to track behaviour, generate insights and make and suggest improvements.
· Optimise website performance including for: speed, to ensure mobile responsiveness and to boost SEO, this includes link building activities.
Inbound Marketing
· Conduct keyword research and create optimised blog posts, landing pages and other assets to drive organic traffic.
· Develop inbound marketing campaigns, including email workflows.
· Set up marketing automation tools to nurture leads through the marketing funnel, monitor performance and recommend improvements.
· Analyse campaign performance, adjust accordingly and report on return on investment (ROI).
Who we are looking for…
You are a digital native who likes to use your skills to create engaging content and create a positive impact. As we communicate in English, you will need a very high level of English and a willingness to learn Swedish. Good writing / copywriting skills and knowledge and experience of writing in different channels e.g. for websites, social media is essential to create strong copy. Experience of using AI in the content creation process and to optimize your work is also important.
· You will have a good attention to detail, be creative and have experience using CMS (Optimisely/Epi is a bonus). You will be a creative and can-do person who is use to getting stuck in and getting work done.
· You will have a good understanding of social media algorithms, current trends and be a natural communicator.
· You are experienced in adapting messages to different target groups.
· You will have at least three years of experience either in house or at an agency. Be adapt at using tools like Canva, have good photography skills and have experience utilising existing content in lots of different ways.
· You are comfortable using AI tools in the content creation and data analysis process and positive about further enhancing skills in this area in the future.
· You will be adept at using Google analytics and similar tools to measure website performance and make recommendations.
· You have knowledge and experience in creating inbound marketing articles or blogs and can conduct keyword research to identify and develop relevant and interesting content.
· You have strong communication skills and can communicate results clearly.
· You are a curious person who enjoys continuous learning in an area where there is constant development. And like to stay up-to-date on trends, tools and changes in digital marketing.
